- A couple of fly-overs by B-52s loaded with wpm would possibly wipe out the whole part of Pakistan where these people live that are the perps. The thing is, the Pres. and Prime Minister would never approve of the bombing because it might kill some innocent civilians.

- Amanda, and IRespond I agree on the draft; and lets make it so the rich and children of congressmen and senators are not excluded. If they're 18, they register for draft (no matter what social status) and if you get called you report.

- If Karzai won't allow US troops to shoot and kill anyone within 10 feet of US troops for fear they might be Afghani troops in civilian clothes intent on killing our men/women then we should just GET OUT of Afghanistan and let the govt fight within itself.

- When the press leaks things to the public that shouldn't be public knowledge, they should be hauled into congress to explain why they did that. The stuff they've leaked I suspect could be reason why we've had so many soldiers killed in Afghanistan, and prior to that Iraq.

- I, too, just wonder if he would feel the same if some of his female family members were used as comfort women for the US troops who came in and ran the country after WWII. Yes, there were some women who became prostitutes (so I was told) but they weren't forced into it.

- Our son, who is 42, slept with my wife off and on until he was about 5. He slept much better when he was with her than by himself (he screamed and hollered, and cried). He did eventually get to where he would sleep by himself.

- It is a shame that cursive is on the way out, yes I can remember learning it about the 3d grade back in the 1950's. I realize smartphones, etc enable people to just type their msg to the other party, by way of texting. Cursive should still be required, in school, maybe move it up to 4th grade.

No. Staying at home is just as challenging for a woman as it is for a man.
